OBJECTIVES

  1. Fellows will know the three foundational components of Character and their subcomponents:
    A. VALUES
    -Being a role model and leading by example
    -Feeling real empathy, compassion, and concern for others
    -Servant Mindset
    B. COURAGE
    -Fortitude
    -Integrity
    C. SELF-CONTROL
    -Self-awareness
    -Accountability and responsibility
  2. Fellows will be able to discern which component or subcomponent is being used when given a situational example.
  3. Fellows will be able to state why Character is critical for effective leadership.
