How did you hear about the Solomon Program?
*
Please tell us about your community's mission, demographics, and current programs:
*
In what ways do you feel the Solomon Program would be the right fit for your community?
*
A Director and Administrator are required to run the Program. The director role is typically filled by the leader of the organization. The administrator role can be filled by a staff member or dedicated community member and they are responsible for day to day operations. Do you have adequate staffing available?
*
The Solomon Program maintains the quality of the Program by setting structures and regulations in place to ensure our Chapters are running to the highest standard. Are you willing to work within the Program's guidelines to create a successful Chapter?
*
The Solomon Program is an accredited Program and has partnered with Palm Beach Atlantic University to award three college credits to each student upon completion of the Program. As such, many of our policies are related to upholding the standards needed to earn the credits, including strict rules regarding homework and attendance. Are you willing to maintain the standards within your Chapter, and on rare occasions dismiss a student if necessary?
*
Do you have a pool of community members who are appropriate to serve as Mentors and guest speakers?
Solomon accepts driven and committed junior and senior high school students only. Does your community have a large enough teen demographic to draw the right students from? Do you have time to dedicate to introducing and marketing the Program?
Part of running Solomon entails creating a formal learning environment for the teens. Are you willing and able to create and maintain this type of atmosphere throughout the Program?
