

Daniel E. Friedmann is the Director at Solutum Technologies which focuses on solving the plastic waste problem. Prior to that, he was the CEO and Chairman of Carbon Engineering, where he concentrated on capturing carbon from the air to mitigate climate change. Before that, he served as the CEO of MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates, “Canada’s largest space systems company” and the world’s largest commercial communications satellite manufacturer, for 20 years. He holds a Master of Applied Science in Engineering Physics from the University of British Columbia, graduating in 1983. He has received several accolades, including recognition as a Technology, Media, and Telecommunications TopGun CEO, as well as the Dean’s Medal of Distinction from the University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Applied Science.
Daniel is also the author of several books on reconciling the biblical account with scientific observation, using his biblical clock formula.
