Mr. David Zalik
Entrepreneur & Philanthropist
David Zalik is an American entrepreneur and philanthropist who founded GreenSky, the largest point-of-sale credit platform in the U.S., in 2006. He took the company public in 2018 and sold it to Goldman Sachs in 2022, where he served as a partner until retiring in 2024. David co-founded The Zalik Foundation, which has granted over $128 million to support education, children and families in need, mental health, and Jewish communities in the U.S. and Israel. Skipping high school, David began attending Auburn University at 14 and founded MicroTech Information Systems at 15, which he later sold. He also founded Outweb, a web and mobile development firm. A strong supporter of democracy, capitalism, and U.S.-Israel relations, David received the 2016 Ernst & Young National Financial Services Entrepreneur of the Year Award. He has served on various boards and lives in Atlanta with his wife, Helen, and their three daughters.
