Caitlen Macias is a youth activist and student at the Columbia School of Social Work. For ten years, she has been an advocate for equity and equality, with a focus on ending sexual violence and uplifting women’s rights. After graduating with her BA in Sociology and Government, she co-founded the World Without Exploitation Youth Coalition, a youth movement to end human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Her team led viral social media campaigns, provided support for thousands of young people, and inspired advocacy around ending sexual exploitation.
Caitlen brings her experience as a philanthropic advisor, therapist, and client services associate with Advancement Experts. She has worked with several local and national impact organizations including the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties, Montessori Model UN, and the Center for Child Counseling. Her expertise in advocacy, financial grants, community voice, equity, and strategy brings a new energy and perspective.
